Mountain Guide
Hi, I’m Lhakpa Gyalzen Sherpa, born in the small village of Pangkhongma, located on the route to Mera Peak, one of Nepal’s popular tourist destinations. I am a mountain and trekking guide, currently living in Portugal. My journey in the mountains began in 2010, and since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a mountain guide. I realized this dream in 2012 and have been guiding ever since. To date, I have climbed Mount Everest seven times, Mount Manaslu three times, Mount Shishapangma once, Mount Dhaulagiri twice, and many other 6,000-meter peaks in Nepal. It has been a rewarding experience organizing treks and expeditions in Nepal.
With a deep passion for the mountains, Lhakpa has spent over a decade guiding treks and expeditions in Nepal. His expertise and experience climbing some of the world's highest peaks make him a trusted leader for adventurers seeking unforgettable journeys.
